What is your relationship like with our Heavenly Father?

Strong? Lukewarm? Non-existent?

Every day, we are in a spiritual battle to look to our Heavenly Father for guidance or look to the world for its opinion.

We find fear, destruction, pain, confusion, and selfishness when we look to the world.

Thankfully, God is still present in the world and always directs you back to Him and His plans for you if you seek Him.

Have you been hurt by ‘religion’ or people in a church?

No one is perfect, including those who go to church. Even pastors and church staff don’t always get things right. Sometimes, you can be very hurt by how others treat you. It makes you question the authenticity of others and your Faith.

It is important to understand this hurt didn’t come from God. Jesus, Himself, criticized organized religion and was hurt by it, too. But He still loves every one of us. He died to save us.

I will respect your thoughts and beliefs. I will listen to your story, helping you come to peace with your experiences to strengthen your relationship with Christ.

God provided us with all the answers in His written Word.

Healing: Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 NLT). “For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds, declares the LORD.” (Jerimiah 30: 17 NAS).

Peace: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.” (Philippians 4: 6 NLT). “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” (1 Peter 5: 7 NLT).

Love: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.” (Jeremiah 31: 3 NLT). “Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.” (Isaiah 43: 4 NLT).

Provision: “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 19 NLT). “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6: 26 NIV).

Growing in your faith is very personal, but hard to do alone.

God created each of us with our own individual plan and purpose. The Bible speaks to us personally, providing individual wisdom and revelation, guiding us to the next steps in life.

The saying, “You reap what you sow,” is the foundation of everything. Continuing to walk in hurt, anger, confusion will reap more hurt, anger, and confusion. You will also start to sow those same things into others around you. And a cycle of bad harvests starts.

Sowing into yourself through Christian Counseling will start to harvest healing, peace, love, and God’s provision. Then you will become a good seed, able to sow into others and continue the fruitful harvest.

I will help you weed out the seeds of hurt and sadness. I will counsel you with Biblical guidance to grow your faith and create a bountiful spiritual harvest.
