How It Works

Getting started

When you call to schedule your free consultation, please leave a message with your name and number, and I will return your call the same day. Between 4 pm and 6 pm are most often when I can return calls.

If for some reason, I am unable to return your call on the same day, I will send you a secure text confirming that I received your call and when I can call you back.

Emailing me is also an excellent way to initiate your desire to schedule a free consultation. Please include a contact number in your email because having an initial phone conversation is more impactful and takes less time for both of us.

But I will respond to emails and answer any easy questions you may have asked.

Free consultation

Once we schedule your free consultation, you will receive an electronic registration packet through the SimplePractice platform. Please take time to read and complete all documents. The packet contains a lot of information that can answer most questions ahead of your consultation and help you decide whether I am the provider that meets your needs.

The free consultation is a way for us to establish how to use the Telehealth software, review what you reported in the paperwork, establish a therapeutic relationship, and ultimately decide if it is a good match.

Then, the sessions begin.

Once you are ready to commit to starting your path to healing, we will schedule your initial appointment, which will include a more thorough review of the legal consent forms and your background.

We will develop your treatment goals and plans during this session.

I recommend scheduling one session per week for the first four weeks. Then, we will decide together how often we need to meet for you to experience consistent progress toward your goals.

I require payment at the end of each session. I can keep your electronic payment information on file and charge after each session with your permission. Alternative payment plans are possible for very extreme situations. Failure to pay means termination of services.
